It goes on the right vent right behind the steering wheel, (I don't use suction cup, vent mount only) on the 2015 it does take a bit of playing around and making sure it doesn't touch the windshield wiper arm but it seems to be optimal there. On the 2018 even less of an issue due to new dashboard design.
