Those 'bulbs' will put out a ton of light but it will all be in two spots. It will give you terrible glare when you look toward them, spots that are way too bright, and then spots that aren't lit at all because of shadows.

I have twenty of them for my 30x40x10 shop and the plan is for ten 'in the field' and five down each side at an angle to add 'task light' and cut down any shadows. I think ten would be great lighting in your garage.

They're cheap and they feel super cheap but it's a nice bright white light and if any fail me I can buy more for peanuts.
