I will draw up a new wire diagram for everyone tonight. The current one is filled with notes and corrections that make it hard to read. I'm pretty new to all this, so if you see a issue with what I have done, please speak up.

Ill figure a way to get more pics on here too. I'm new to reddit also....still learning

The tree breaks down into 3 sections for storage with connectors at each joint for easy disassembly. Every individual "twig/branch" has at least one led on it, that is why it has such a weird total count.

Top section- 228LEDS

Mid- 810ct

Bottom- 465ct.

I have power injection roughly every 200 LEDS.

Using the ESP32 because I needed at least 4 pins for data. using WLED

Data1 228leds

data2 400ct

data3 410ct

data4 465ct.

Using a logic level shifter 3-5v to talk to the LEDS (thinking of changing it out for a few signal boosters)

2x 6ch fuse blocks with 5 amp fuses for my power distribution needs

12v to 5v converter to power the ESP32

12v 30a power supply to power everything up.

Components:

- Menards Christmas Tree (3 pc)

- 2811 12v 50ct Stranded LEDs

I did, and it works great. Here are the components I used:

- PSU : https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XJVYDDW

- PSU mains power cord : https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BQ8PY21

- DC power pigtail to connect Soundboks to PSU : https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08PYWN3T7

IMPORTANT: You can adjust the PSUs output voltage by 15%. Make sure to set the voltage to what the Soundboks is expecting from the Batteryboks (12.8V I think, but please verify before you plug in).

These GaN chargers are cheaper:

If size isn't an issue, a 12V power supply is much cheaper and you won't need PD triggers: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XJVYDDW/
