I have used the Fluke amp clamp for work and it is a great meter. With Fluke, while you are paying for a great meter in terms of build quality and precision, you are paying for the name as well.
I have used a lot of Klein tools but never their measuring equipment, but I'm sure it'll get the job done.
I would look at the Extech MA445. Currently on Amazon in the US for 80 bucks. I have one of these meters at work in my personal toolbox when I need to make a quick measurement for reference and I don't need it from a calibrated piece of equipment.
I have another co-worker with a Uni-T amp clamp that I would suggest as well for around the same price.
For the uses you mentioned, I think one of these would be more than enough for you.
