Thanks for your reply. I think this may be my problem I’m not sure this CF adapter is iPod friendly. I will look to try a different brand. Also what should I reformat the card to?

I tried it both ways on both iPods. I suspect my CF adapter may be the problem.

Those dual slot adapters will not work on iPods. Use the ones with the single slot instead. Something like this should work.
