Sure absolutely:) one thing I have found that really helps is PET INSURANCE. I have Embrace and for two kittens monthly it’s almost $34... that’s it. You’d have to look into of course but it was a great decision. So far it’s paid for itself several times over as my Winnie broke his leg a month ago. As far as food and litter, I like to buy cheap and in bulk especially when it comes to liter (clumping). Costco, 30lbs for $10. Sometimes $9. As far as food, don’t skip on this. Quality food for cats I have found is necessary as it keeps the poo down and keeps your pet healthier. What I give now is Blue Wilderness Chicken (kitten)... I never buy cat food at a pet store unless I’m in desperate need right then. I buy this on Amazon for 5lbs for $20... you feed your kittens on demand. Making sure they have their dry kitten food always. What I’ve found with this food is they absolutely LOVE the taste and will eat it with no issues. Your kitty will be a kitten for one year and she will need to eat whenever she is hungry. Never restrict her feeding unless it’s for a medical reason followed by a vet of course. My kittens vet is a firm believer of feeding kittens on demand Iike this. She said they need lots of calories to grow. I also give my boys kitten wet food, same brand but I make sure I buy the pâté. Cats are big on texture I’ve found all my years owning them. My cats would lick the juice from the chunk ones and leave the chunks. Then of course there are cats that will eat nothing but their dry food. It’s all their preference. Get a kitty window perch as well as a kitty tree if you have a few square feet to spare. I think the reason why people may have an issue with it is because when using them I’d suggest to have it in a room or small apartment... works great and helped my two kittens bond nearly instantly. The refills are not expensive and you don’t really need buy but a couple refills then I doubt you have to use it again. I have bought a refill and will maybe buy one more as my boys are absolutely fine together. When it comes to cat boxes and a small space...I feel that .... because you have a small space I’m sure you probably have a cover over your kitties box now? Make sure it’s a large box. Typical it is said that you need one box per cat but I have a HUGE box that I line and change often and I have had zero problems. I’ve done this with all my cats. How old is your little girl now? Since you’ve got a couple/few months before you head back in, this would be the time to get her a little sister or brother as you will be there to help them adjust.
