Any thoughts on the HLG lights? Many said they are the best on the market right now, wondering if anyone has any experience with them and how they compare? https://www.amazon.com/Quantum-Board-Grow-Bloom-4000K/dp/B076QDKVDZ and https://www.amazon.com/Quantum-Board-Grow-Bloom-3000K/dp/B07C59J8L2 and if you can only go with one color for a mix of plants in a area, is 3000k or 4000k better for everyone and their different stages?
Here's some tips:
Never buy a quantum board that uses plastic washers anywhere in its construction. I've tested 7 cheap quantum boards and the ones with the plastic washers were highly dangerous. None of them actually passed safety tests to UL 1598 standards. ONLY BUY QUANTUM BOARDS THAT HAVE EXTERNAL LED DRIVERS!
As a minimum for the wattage you need, figure out the square footage of the grow space and multiply that by 30 watts per square foot for high quality lights (top end Samsung lm301 LEDs) and 50 watts per square foot for cheap lights. This is for true wattage draw and not some scam "600w" equivalent non-sense.
"Blurple" lights are obsolete by today's standards. They'll work but their higher blue content will drive down yields but can keep plants more compact (for the same reasons).
People pushing UV LEDs in a light are pulling a scam. UV doing anything positive is not supported by modern literature.
I'm partial to HLG lights because I know that those quantum boards are made by Samsung themselves.
I believe these containers are about 2.5 square feet so find a 150 true watt cheap light or a 100 true watt quantum board that uses the Samsung LM301B or H LEDs (not the Samsung LM281+ LEDs which are a scam IMO. There's a popular YouTuber named Migro that is currently pulling this scam on Amazon).
I have this light:
Something like this is slightly on the low side but people here have used it and similar lights:
