Adhesive does not matter because it won't stick because of lube.

Like I've said, cut a thick one and shove it there. Because if it's thick and snug enough it'll stay. Notice the red circle, that's how your foam thickness should be. The foams in the picture look thin because of use, but it was thicker originally and It just stayed in place ever since.

Edit: Caution on loosening the bearings. This don't really affect the sound but the resistance. If you are satisfied with the resistance then you can ignore this step
