Yeah, read the comments, tried AirportBrcmFixup.kext among others. I'm not going to fight with it. Ordered a Fenvi slot type instead. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07VCCZS54 Was kind of hoping to use the mini pci slot though. I'm putting in 2 add in cards now with that Fenvi, so in the build, I'll now probably need to make some tweaks with the internal USB 3.0 card. Wouldn't be a big deal except for the case I am using. After doing the Ivy Bridge instructions for the CPU/GPU combo I'm using, the computer now identifies as a MacPro 6.1. So keeping with the theme of that, I'm tossing it into this case: https://www.newegg.com/vetroo-k2-black/p/1W8-017N-00010?Item=9SIAPNCDZE8248 And if you look on the back, there are only 3 PCIE slots. Gonna be a tight squeeze now with the Fenvi card, but this is shaping up to be a hella nice Hackintosh.
I ended up buying both of these items:
Fenvi T919

9pin USB Header Splitter 1 to 4 Female extension
https://www.amazon.com/Splitter-Extension-Motherboard-Converter-Multiplier/dp/B09F2M5YLF
I had to get the splitter due to only having 1 USB 2.0 header on the ASUS Rampage VI Extreme. Looking forward to a good out of the box experience. If this resolves my last issue of not having Wi-Fi, it will be worth it.
