Ok so just as a preface, if you want a player that won't damage your records and play them well a beginners turntable set up can cost around 150$-300$ depending on if you already have speakers or not. It's a bit of an expense and one that I had to save for but compared to other good players and brands it won't break the bank and its well worth the money for a piece of equipment that will last.
So these first 2 links are just the players by themselves Audio technica and orbit I personally have the Audio technica. It's super easy to use and set up and it's the more affordable option. Orbit is one I don't have experience with but others have recommended it as another good beginner turntable and it comes in cool colors.
Now those are just the players without speakers but to use them they will need speakers. I found 2 audio technica bundles that include speakers that were a good price. One has Bluetooth speakers and the other has wired speakers and a cleaning kit personally I think the audio technica with the wired speakers and cleaning kit is going to be the best bang for your buck!
I highly recommend the $500 setup if you can spend that much, the RT82 plus the great deal for the good Klipsch speakers and subwoofer.
If you can't go over $400 then:
Good turntable, small basic speakers: Fluance RT82 $299 + Pyle PP444 $13 + 4" Microlab Pro1BT $59 speakers = $371 total. Then upgrade the speakers later to $300+ plus new speakers or used speakers for less similar to the Klipsch package.
However a basic starter turntable and better speakers will sound better to start with:
Starter turntables:
Plus the great deal on the 5.25" Klipsch speakers and subwoofer $200.
Total is $339 or $353:
Then later optionally upgrade the turntable to the Fluance RT82.
you can start with a pretty good entry level record player such as an Audio-Technica AT-LP60X
heres a link to it on amazon. It is belt driven meaning the plattter is not motorized so its good for light use. DM Me if you need more help :)
