Yes, it will need a 0.5x or 0.37x adapter to fit into/replace one of your eye magnifiers.
I used this one, but I have a trinocular microscope. You'll have to find out what size your eye ports are to get the right adapter that fits the camera and your microscope (could be the same, but I'm not sure).
My Microscope is the OMAX M8311Z
I got it bundled with a A1PHC2 Condensor and extra objectives for Brightfield, Darkfield, & Phase Contrast support.
And I collect the footage with a HAYAR microscope camera and an OMAX 0.37X Reduction Lens.
There are cheaper solutions, and much more expensive solutions. All this cost me about $900.
