This is an interesting question that can be answered in 2 ways:

  1. What is my favorite album for storing and displaying stamps?
  2. What is my favorite album based on the stamps in the album?

Perhaps a better question: If I started fresh today knowing what I've learned over the years, then this is what I would do:

A mix of custom and printed pages based on the https://stampalbums.com/ design on Ivory-colored 32lb 8.5x11 paper using clear mounts. I'm close to this for my Australia collection, but started using 67lb white paper; switching now would make it look too inconsistent.

My worldwide collection is housed primarily in Scott International Albums. I do like these but it's not easy to create custom pages due to the oversized paper.

My US Collection is in Palo Hingeless Albums for the classic era up to 1940, and Mystic Pages for the remainder. I fill in custom pages where necessary using stampalbums.com or creating them on my own.

However, I do love the Lighthouse Vario-G Classic Binders: https://www.amazon.com/Lighthouse-Vario-G-Classic-Binder-Slipcase/dp/B005LWFEWG I moved as much as I could into these binders and still considering moving my Scott International Albums into these binders as well. They are sturdy, easy to use, fit a variety of page sizes, and economical when purchased in lots on sale.
