OP I got this in 2021 and it's cheaper now. It's 32gb 3200mhz DDR4, but it's CL22. I think it's worth it especially since it's 32gb and $67.99usd right now . You'll never have to worry about chrome tabs ever again. It's JEDEC standard meaning it's compatible to run at rated speeds without having to use XMP which the G5 does not support. I own it and never had any problems.

I just grabbed this Mushkin kit for my HP ProBook 445 G7:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08BYJNXM4
HWInfo reports the following:
Size: 32GB
Clock: 1598.7 MHz = 16.0 x 99.9 MHz
Mode: Dual-Channel CR: 1T
Timing: 22-22-22-52 tRC 74 tRFC 560
Lots of reviews for that set not running at rated speed.
You'll only get 2933 with that laptop, and it needs to be JEDEC rated since there isn't a way to enable XMP.
These seem to be well rated and reviews are indicating they run at speed without XMP. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08LQG2SDS/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_CMG6D64ZGVAN4NE6M5JC
I'm using these and they work great. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08BYJNXM4/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_V3SGQDKG7DTT9N3HZJS6
I don't see a 16GB kit listed though.
Yes, sorry. What I meant by "unknown" was "not tested on a Ryzen 4000 laptop (to my knowledge) for compatibility". I was thinking about purchasing that same ram kit before I found a great deal on the OLOy Cardinal ram. Like I said, I'd love to hear your results!
There's a Mushkin (Denver-based company) kit that looks like it might be compatible that's also a good deal. Although it's not as popular as Crucial, and the future of the company is questionable, they used to make some good high-performance hardware "back in the day". https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08BYJNXM4/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_oQHEFb2VE3BDS
