I want to go with lithium technology on my second build, once i get all the kinks out of the first one. But for now im thinking cheap, and working. If i ran 6 of these ub1250 12v scooter motors two sets of 3 in parallel( http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B001DL9IBC ) i feel like that will get me where i want to go. I dont want extremely efficient, i just wanna be able to cruise at around 30 mph for around 3-5 miles ( to town and back ). I might just need to get everything else before i order the batteries, and when i do ill order 3. then run it in series and in parallel and see what sort of range and power i get at each. Then add more batteries when i need to.
