You don't have to clean off non-powdered nitrile gloves before using them. When they say non-sterile, it's because once they have been opened, they can't be guaranteed to be totally free of bacteria. The texture to refers to the fact that the tips of them have the slightest bit of texture to them to make picking up objects easier. I have used and experienced both textured and non-textured gloves and the difference is non-existent. I will say, however, to avoid the garbage bag feeling, make sure you order the size that will still fit your hands but won't be baggy. Baggy gloves for sex feel really gross.
I like the Dynarex Black Nitrile Gloves (link to the large size), personally. I use black because it's less medical than the blue. They also come in purple.
