I tried triple 8 bumsavers, derby crash last 2700, gform used for mountain biking and burton padded shorts designed for snowboarding. The bumsavers shorts fit best on me and I like that the pads are removable but the cutouts looked like they wouldn’t last more than a couple washes. The other 3 didn’t cover my tailbone because sizing was a bit odd. I ended up getting a cheap pair off Amazon and it has worked well. Pads are not removable but I just toss the whole thing in the wash on delicate cycle and it’s just fine. It does get hot and sweaty under there though. I wear it over leggings or shorts when I’m trying something new or feeling nervous. padded shorts
