Please note that POE switches with 16+ ports typically have cooling fans. Since the fans are usually 40mm fans, they can get a bit noisy.

TP-Link annoyingly doesn't seem to list decibel specs on their switches.

If fan noise may be of concern, and to reduce immediate costs, you might want to consider two switches; a standard 16-port switch right now, and a separate 8-port POE switch later to support your cameras when you get them.

Most of the 8-port POE switches are fan-less designs.

Something like a Zyxel GS1900-16 would give you 16 gigabit ports, and is a managed switch, so if you decide you want VLANs, or perhaps decide to utilize link aggregation for your NAS, you'll be good to go.

You can add a Zyxel GS1900-8HP later on, to support 6 or 7 IP Cameras, assuming they're rated for 9 or 10W max.

They are VERY easy to set up, via their local web interface.

If you'd prefer to stick with your original selection, then you may as well pick up the managed version of the same switch, the TL-SG1218MPE, which is currently the same price on Amazon. . .
