Thank you so much for all of your time and help. To clarify, output for my TV has RCA, 2 x 3.5mm, and Optical out.
After much searching and looking, I've come down to two choices:
First:
Bose s1 or JBL eon 1 compact centered under TV connected to TV with RCA to Aux cable. with these mics.
This would eliminate a lot of cables, wireless mic receiver, and mixer and seems like it would be very easy to pick up and take it with me anywhere. So a total of 2 wires for complete setup (power and RCA to AUX cable) . I linked the proposed mics as they have volume adjustment built in and I wouldn't have to reach behind the speaker all the time.
I have read a lot and watched a lot of videos about the s1 vs eon 1, but nothing definitive about which would be best for general entertainment (movie watching) with some karaoke a few times a month. Any insight would be appreciated.
Second:
2 x Alto TX308. These would fit nicely in my entertainment stand cabinets and could open them when in use. I'm unsure how they will sound vs option 1.
However, when I start trying to piece everything together, I believe I would require a mixer (since the TX308s do not have a aux imput), all of the cables plus a wireless mic receiver.
This second option would probably be 100ish dollars cheaper, but with all of the wires and additional equipment needed is it even worth it?
Thanks again for all of your helpful insight. After spending multiple days only looking through karaoke equipment, I can definitely say I'm suffering from decision fatigue.
