Hello,
I have a sound issue when I connect my Switch to my desktop computer. So my desktop computer has an audio interface (PreSonus Studio 24c 2x2, 192 kHz) which exports the sound to a pair of studio monitors (KRK RP5 Rokit 5). Then I use 3.5mm to 1/4 Adapter Aux Cord (tisino 1/8 to 1/4 Stereo Cable) to connect my Switch to the audio interface.
The sound comes from the speakers but certain elements of the sound is so small they are almost inaudible (such as link's voice, sound from hitting monsters, etc).
Just wondering if anyone had similar issue.
I just ordered this DAC (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00NMXY2MO/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) because I heard this can improve the sound quality. I will give an update if this fixes the problem!
I would really appreciate any advice to enhance my gaming experience!
Thanks!
Righto, so the easiest way to set it up if you don't have a mixer is to buy one of these audio adapters: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00NMXY2MO/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
When I streamed, this was my routing setup: Music audio from the PC was connected to my module via an AUX in. I had a splitter connected to the Headphones output. One of the lines was split to my IEM's, and the other was connected to the mic port on the audio adapter, which you connect to the computer. It will show up as a new audio input on your computer (it may have to be turned down as it could be overmodulated, just turn it down in the sound settings on the computer). On OBS, you would just add a new audio input to whatever scene you're on, and it should get the same sound you head through your headphones.
Hope that helps!
