I bought this and have had no issues.

This is the Amazon listing, I just picked it based on it being the right battery and having better reviews than other correct batteries. The change didn’t help my fans, nor did I think it would. My fans sounded unhappy and my laptop was running hot even with the fans, so when I still had warranty I sent it in and insisted that they replace my fans and my battery too (even though they said there was nothing wrong with either). Replaced fans ran much quieter and more efficiently and new battery was nice as well.

Laptop is from 2016. I played the Witcher 3 for like 3 hours a day on it on top of a pillow for the first year and found that the battery was crap after that. Then again at the end of my extended warranty I think I got it replaced because i figured why not, it was close to 80% health wise.

Then I guess I’m on my 4th now because it would die super fast, battery health sometimes said 80%, sometimes said 40% so I replaced it with this Amazon one which has been the best battery so far.

Laptop is almost 6 years old now, a $40 battery to have another couple hours of life a day has been 100% worth the investment
