I just bought $400 worth of survival rations. Simpler. I have two boxes already, the next two are backordered but allegedly arrive next week.

I need to go get some cans of soup or something though, it would be nice to have some variety. I also picked up a bunch of peanut butter and canned tuna for protein and a fifty pound bag of rice

The cases of water are nice but if for whatever reason you can't use the tap you will go through water faster than you think you will. If you have the storage space, get a few six-gallon water jugs and fill em from the tap. I also picked up some iodine water sanitation tablets.

Radio and flashlight are good. My radios will require some creative rewiring to charge from batteries or my usb solar panel but it'll work in an emergency.

One thing you should make sure you're good on is hygiene and sanitation stuff. That will be nearly impossible to get in a crisis. Get a few bars of soap, a tube of toothpaste and a toothbrush, some rubbing alcohol for disinfecting. Get a case of clorox wipes or similar. Make sure you have bandaids and/or bandages, aspirin or tylenol or something. If shit really hits the fan and you can't change your clothes for weeks, it'll be good to have some stuff to get clean, plus decontaminating your surroundings might become a big deal

Having a multitool or something will come in handy. I have a basic set of tools already but I've built it out in a "buy what you need when you need it" fashion and I figured having a thing I can carry with me that will cover most basic situations is a good call.

Probably a good idea to stockpile ammo for those handguns if you can afford it. I don't know piss all about guns, I'm new to the whole thing.

You can get a power station for not too much. That will charge your phone and small appliances for a while. Harbor freight has some good ones. I’ll post an example at the bottom. You should also have a car battery jumper in your car, will also charge your phone and be a flashlight. And I bought a portable solar panel you can recharge your phone battery packs.
