This is a nice and lightweight, quickly inflated with a few breaths, sleep pad.

Model 3 does not have native camper mode as of 2018.42.2 which is what I currently have installed. Also, I went camping when I still had version 8.

The HVAC if turned on via phone or API at that time would only run for 30 mins before shutting off. The overheat protection wasn't implemented yet. So I had TeslaFi send a wake up HVAC command every 30 minutes throughout the night which kept it on all night.

I am about 6ft tall and found it comfortable space wise. Temp/humidity wise it was perfect with the HVAC enabled.

I used one of these in the back seat foot well to sort of extend the surface as I like to sleep on my side with one arm extended out beyond my head:

I used this as a sleeping pad. It was very comfortable, but it did slide around due to being kind of slippery. One night I woke up with the lower half of my body off the pad.

One thing that sucked for me is that with v8 I couldn't control the entertainment system with the app from the back of the car. But now you can! :)

Referral code for TeslaFi is "ZJ" without the quotes.

After shipping, it's basically the same price Amazon always has it at. Plus this doesn't ship for 3 weeks, Amazon has it on Prime. http://www.amazon.com/Klymit-Static-Lightweight-Sleeping-Green/dp/B007RFG0NM

Another option is to get an inflatable camping sleeping pad. I own this one https://www.amazon.com/Klymit-Static-Lightweight-Sleeping-Green/dp/B007RFG0NM/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?ie=UTF8&qid=1533220749&sr=8-1-spons&keywords=static+v&psc=1 Its on sale right now on amazon. I bought mine for backpacking, its super small and lightweight (packs down to the size of a big burrito) and to me its as comfortable as an air mattress, or even more because it doesn't sag throughout the night. It is skinny so if you roll around in the night its not for you, but I sleep like a rock at burning man and its perfect for me.

Hope this helps!

Inflatable sleeping mat This thing rocks!

Inflatable pillow It's not made for everybody, but its comfy enough for me. Sometimes I use clothing as a pillow depending on how my neck/back feel from hiking.

Jetboil Flash I use it to boil water mainly (coffee, instant oatmeal, instant rice, etc.) If you cook stuff in it, it can be hard to clean... but it also comes with a stand so you can use other pots/pans.

Pack Towel Many uses outdoors, and washes well

Hammock with net This only fits one person, and can be tricky to set up. I use some sticks to spread apart the guide lines for the bug net, or flip it over and don't worry about the bug net. Works great for the summer months - my butt gets cold in the spring/fall.

Cheap dry sacks These don't compress too well, but they work fine for keeping clothing dry and organized.

REI half dome 2 tent I haven't bought the footprint yet, but it's worked great over the past year without it. Longest stay was 10 nights, in January with some rain (east NC) , and no issues with the tent at all. Can get cramped with 2 people plus gear inside... so we just put our oacks under the vestibules and it stayed dry. 6 month old lab stayed with us and did not damage anything.

These are the screens I want.

For an air mattress I use the Klymit. I have the longer luxe version, which is 3" thick, but also more expensive. Either way, they are good for the car being so thin.
