i will add that i am going to try a 14/18mm adapter at some point to get a more snug fit to cut the heating time down. but this works great for now. this is my first post but i obviously lurked
I’m talking US$. Maybe that is why your # is higher. I also did not use a MOFSET board which is not needed if the button and power supply are rated appropriately.

I spliced and used electrical tape on my first build. Second build I just screwed the wires into the terminals (did not splice). If using a glass slide, the coil will be wider. Mine has 7 loops and clicks at about 25 seconds. 2nd build using a glass adapter has a tighter coil. 9 loops. Clicks at about 8 seconds. They both great. Gave the 1st to a friend along with a Cvap
