I got these shocks: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07GPSQ4H9
Gonna install them soon. Can't talk about the performance yet. But the finish and milling looks superb. I really wanted to spend less than $100 on shocks, I don't require perfection. Florida has very nice, smooth roads. My stock shocks look so cheap, they need to go.
So, the shocks I bought are 350mm, per my stock, and these also can be raised half an inch, which I am gonna test to see if it feels better.
I looked into modding the dash. Fitting in other shaped round (or else) custom modules would be a pain. Specifically, that the handle bar is behind the dash, making any deep modules unusable. So far I don't have a good solution yet (one that would make it a quick mod vs some super custom cutting and fitting). This is my current dash: https://wolfbrandscooters.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/EX-150-0-Speedometer.jpg All I did was open it up and add a better strip of LEDs to have a stronger background light. Overall, modding it is on the back of my mind.
