The Asus ROG Rapture GT-AX6000 is the only consumer router I've found right now with more than one 2.5GbE port (it has two that can apparently be configured for WAN/LAN, or in link aggregation mode for WAN/WAN or LAN/LAN):

From there, you can feed your 2.5GbE LAN port to a separate 2.5GbE switch for wired devices that have 2.5GbE NICs. In general, 2.5GbE switches are still fairly pricey compared to their gigabit brethren; in fact, I just had to buy a 5-port 2.5GbE switch and a 24-port gigabit switch a few days ago when a near-miss lightning strike took my "old" ones out (a Netgear gigabit switch I installed a couple of years ago after an eerily similar near-miss lightning strike took out the "eBay special" Cisco/Linksys switch I had for years, but I just got the TP-Link 2.5GbE switch last April). The 24-port gigabit switch (TP-Link) was only $90, but the 5-port 2.5GbE switch (Zyxel) was $120...and that was the cheapest model currently in-stock on Amazon (or anywhere else, for that matter, especially for next-day delivery):

That said, you might be like me and be better-served to have your primary router/switch/WiFi access point(s) be discrete pieces; I run a mini-ITX PC with OPNSense and a dual-port 2.5GbE card as my router, with aforementioned 5-port 2.5GbE (for my main desktop and my media server) and 24-port gigabit (for everything else wired) switches, and three TP-Link Deco mesh WiFi units handling the wireless (all connected to the gigabit switch for wired backhaul).

The S33 is a great DOCSIS 3.1 modem with a 2.5Gb port, but it's more than you need for 500Mb. It's a good way to go for futureproofing though. FYI, I'm using an S33 on a 500Mb connection right now.

Amazon currently has a package with the S33 and Arris W121 mesh package for $409. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08TL6NMV9/ I have no idea how good the W121 is, but having two APs will cover more area than a single unit, if you've got a bigger house.

I'm partial to Asus routers. Amazon currently has the GT-AX6000 for $258. It has 2.5Gb WAN and LAN ports, so you could get >1Gb internet through the router and to client devices. It's supported by Merlin as well. With $155 for the S33, you're only a few bucks over $400.
