RN wound care here .You shouldn’t scab wounds. Moist healing is how to go about it. Get a hydrocolloid bandaid and put that on. Leave for 7 days if you can. Only clean it with sterile saline which you can make yourself from boiling and cooling water and adding salt. The hydrocolloid will stick better if you cover with hypafix. After you take off the hydrocolloid, clean it and just put the hypafix straight on it. Leave for a few days at a time and see if ot needs replacing if it’s still a little raw and the hypafix will protect it. It’s great stuff for cuts and scrapes and protecting your heels from blisters and for covering blisters.
Wipe it over with some iodine ointment. Don’t use neosporin. If you put a bandaid on then make sure it covered the wound completely and is not a plastic one that will make it too moist. Personally if it was me and I am a wound care RN with many years of experience , I would wipe with iodine and put hypafix straight on and leave for 3 days at a time and don’t submerge your hand in water and put a surgical glove in the shower. Change and repeat process. Hypafix is an invaluable thing to have in your first aid kit. It can be used to prevent blisters on heels and cover blisters and also use over superficial cuts and scrapes. There will be a person who will dispute this on this sub but it’s worked for me and my family and we use it in the outpatients Trauma hospital where I work currently.
Another good option to use as an overpatch to help hold the things on is a something like Hypafix tape. Or probably any kind of flexible fabric medical tape around 2" wide with adhesive your skin is fine with. That non-woven material is extra good because it won't start fraying around the edges like some commercial overpatches I've tried.
I initially tried that when I had some on hand already, and a sensor started loosening around the edges. It doesn't come in cool colors or anything, but it holds them on securely and works out a lot cheaper than any precut overpatches I've seen. I found that it's best to fold it in half to snip a little hole in the center to let the sensor breathe, and round off the corners some so they don't start peeling up with wear.
Wound Care RN Best thing for blisters is this. It’s brilliant. And also you can use this as a blister preventative . Put it on your heels and even toes to prevent blisters. For now buy a roll of this and when the blister breaks paint it with betadine and put some Hypafix on it. You can shower with it on and just pay dry and change every 2 to 3 days and put more betadine on. Sounds unconventional to some but have done this tried and true and we use Hypafix in the trauma clinic I work at all the time. The surgeons I work with love it on suture lines also.
Yeah . It’s getting macerated ( white skin) as it’s too damp. Probably plastic bandaids. Clean with sterile saline ( boil water cool and add salt ) wipe it over then buy some betadine ointment . Put this on it. Cover with a pad and buy some hypafix as this is brilliant stuff to hold the pad on. Don’t get it wet in the shower and only change the dressing every two days where you do the whole process again. Wound Care RN.
This will help heal your wound if you follow it
Wound Care RN
No problems. This is the good tape.
Buy some hypafix and you can use this for protection in future. You can also put it in your broken areas now and on the blister. Leave for a few days and change it. It can get wet but I wouldn’t submerge it in water. Will air dry after a shower. Use some betadine before hand on the broken areas to clean them up. You don’t need a doctor at this stage Wound care RN
Wound care RN Get some betadine and clean it up and leave some betadine on it. Cover with a breathable bandage. A piece of gauze
and then something like this

Or this
Do this and it will be Ok. Keep it dry and change every 2 to 3 days.
I see a lot worse wounds and surgeries than this in the post op hand clinic. This looks fine.
Wound care RN here. It looks a little hypergranulated. A photo from a little further away would help to get perspective Under the armpit is hard due to sweating etc. Only clean it with sterile saline ( boil water and cool and add a little salt ) Try some medihoney on it. This helps with hypergranulation ( also called proud flesh as it’s just cells over growing) get a pad and place over the medihoney. https://www.amazon.com/Ointment-Abrasions-Hypoallergenic-Properties-Superficial/dp/B07XNRG4SP/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?keywords=Medihoney&qid=1687525199&sr=8-4
You don’t need to use a lot . Spread with a wooden spatula would be good. The best thing to hold the pad on is this

Don’t use soap on them at all. If you need to shower under your arms for hygiene then just use water and then rinse with the saline solution. The Bepanthen is probably not giving it enough air.
I also found these which I think may work well for you. https://www.amazon.com/Kastormed-Alginate-Dressing-Absorbency-Pressure/dp/B097TC61SD/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?keywords=Medihoney&qid=1687525199&sr=8-3
They could also be secured with the hypafix tape
Just remember that wounds heal better being left alone for 24 hours to 2 to 3 days before changing
