The US like repellent or electric traps for some reason. If I had to guess, it would be the amount of bugs, there's a lot of places in the US where the trap would be overrun immediately and you would still get bitten. it looks like this is the closest you're probably going to find for a comparable trap.

Another option would be getting an outdoor bug zapper, or just use mosquito repellent
