It depends on the floor underneath your carpet. Do you have a decorative rug over plain low-pile carpet, is it hardwood, tile, laminate?

I have laminate flooring and the only thing that's worked for me (and I've tried carpet tape, no-slip rug pads, etc.) is Curl Stop.
