These seedling bags are rather sturdy and bearing capability, they are not easy to crack whilst packed with soil while transplanting your seedlings into the lawn.

So I'll get some stuff out of the way first off.

  • I ran out of room up top so the tops are a little fried. Sacraficed some of the tops for everything mid to down low. It's ok though. Nothing I could do.

  • The 2 lights in there are a Marshydro Ts1000 and a SpiderFarmer SF1000.

  • it's a 2.5x2.5 tent

  • I run CannaCoco nutes with Calmag. I add in Silica Blast and Recharge every other watering. I did run a pk boost this run.

  • She's a 3 gallon in mother earth coco plus perlite.

  • Shes from MarijuanaSeedBreeders. I grew out their Critical Auto and I was very happy with it in both size and smoke.

I’ve made a few journals in the past if you’d like to read through them. I usually wrote them while blasted so I apologize for anything wrong or doesn’t make sense. If you have questions just ask. I’ll help anyone as much as I can.

I use CannaCoco A+B and Calmag every watering.

Now on to watering. With Coco the easiest way to do this is by weight. I water and I pick her up. Throughout the day she's gonna use that water up and she'll get lighter. It might be 1 day or it could be 3 days depending on where she is in the grow cycle. Pick her up throughout the day and when she starts to get kinda light then you know it's time to water. Not airy light because you know the roots are too dried out but you'll definitely notice a difference. Another tell use to look at the color of the Coco up top. It'll be really dark right when you water. As it dries it'll lighten in color. Stick your finger in there. If it's wet it's too early, if it's moist along with the weight you know it's time to water. You'll be able to feel the water is only in the central part of the root mass. That's it. That's the secret. I let her tell me when she needs to be fed by lifting them and looking at the top. Also make sure you have a pot elevator with a pan because you don't want your plant sitting in the run off water. I usually water until 20-25% run off. And then I use a wet vac to suck out the run off so it's not standing there. It's too much work to try and remove the pan underneath when she gets bigger.

With nutes, Coco holds nothing so it's all your nutes that you add to your water. Keep it simple. I run CannaCoco A+B that ramps up the dosage over the entire grow and Calmag as my primary nutes. I give those every watering. I add 1/2tsp of Recharge and 1ml of Silica blast every other watering when she's young and 2ml as she gets older but they're aren't even necessary. I see so many people adding so much shit and I get it but adding so much stuff to me is a point of failure I wasn't willing to risk. A+B for me and I'll let the other dudes run bananas peel with earthworm foreskins and all that voodoo stuff.

Transplanting

I transplant. Transplanting is vital for your plants. I didn't my first couple grows and it shows. My most recent grow's stalk is easily twice the size of my previous grows. Read every word of this article and bookmark it. I still reference it read frequently and if you understand what's going on you'll beat far better grower.

My method: I start in seedling bags then I wait until I start to see roots towards the bottom. You want to wait until she needs to be fed then transplant. Reason being is that generally what causes transplant shock is two different mediums being the wrong PH. You can avoid this by waiting until she needs to be fed, transplant to the new Coco, then feed so that way both the new and old medium have the same nutrients and PH. The second container is a 1/2 gallon fabric pot. From there I waited about a week until I started seeing roots at the bottom. Waited till she needed to be fed, then put her in that final 3 gallon there. Only thing I thing I could have done better next grow is maybe placing her slightly higher in the final pot.
