I'm only 6 days post op but these things have been helpful:

• The Essential Guide to Hysterectomy - this book answered all my questions and I found myself referring to it even the morning of
• This grabber tool
• This heating pad - it takes the edge off pain and soreness, especially gas pain
• Colace and gas-x - have had no issues with BMs, started pooping again day 2
• A squishmallow - a friend got me this and it was so helpful to have something to prop myself up with, use as a seatbelt pillow, etc. And it's cute af!
