So, what would you recommend then? Cast iron pots?

The Lodge Combo Cooker is popular, because it's easier to drop the loaf on the skillet part. It's also about half the price of the enameled DO.

Loved them so far. Only complaint would be the size, I would have gone with a bigger one had I known their size before hand.

If that oven goes up to 250 Celsius and the stand can support a cast iron combo cooker (Lodge LCC3 Cast Iron Combo Cooker, Pre-Seasoned, 3.2-Quart https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0009JKG9M/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_zRBtBbNN53PK8) then you should totally be able to bake bread
