A Flowfold Minimalist slim wallet I'm not a fan of that style of those "one-slot" wallet because I feel like there's no organization, and I have to pull out all my bills/cards each time I need something.
Oh, I don't use mine as a wallet. My actually wallet is a Tumi Delta, but at $60 it is above OP specified <$30 target. I use the FlowFold to keep business cards looking nice without the bulk of an actual business card case. (Business cards are one of Flowfold's recommended uses.). I included the FlowFold for this reason, as well as the fact that some people do prefer single-slot wallets for EDC due to their thin size, and because of OP's price point.
If anyone is interested, I have been using this AlpineSwiss slim leather wallet for about 3 years and it's the best slim wallet I've ever used. The middle pocket is for bills, outside pockets are for the three cards I carry. It's just a few dollars more that the Flowfold, so anyone in the market for a slim wallet should definitely consider it. Slim wallets are pretty niche so it's up to personal preference the style you prefer (some people like these money-clip style wallets), so if you think the one-slot it for you then that FlowFold looks like a pretty good deal.
Agreed on all counts. The AlpineSwiss actually looks like a decent budget replacement for the Tumi Delta. I prefer the window on the Delta so I don't have to remove my ID, but that's just my own personal preference, and it is five and a half times the price of the Tumi.
