Completely understandable. If you go the eBay route, check the seller ratings, be in communication with the seller if something is “off” (even if they haven’t shipped the item in a reasonable amount of time). It shows that you tried to resolve an issue with them first and offers proof if something was falsely promised or that there was no response from the seller. Also, be certain to use PayPal in case you need to open up a dispute, they’re generally quick to resolve the issue and refund your payment if it comes to that. Amazon is beginning to also provide aid in dispute resolution with any of their featured sellers, just remember to read the seller ratings and reviews.
