I don't know about the ebook side of it, but I've read a few good ones.

Charles Lamb wrote about his time as a pilot of a Fairey Swordfish in "To War in a Stringbag".

Hans-Ulrich Rudel wrote an interesting memoir called "Stuka Pilot".

Martin Caiden has a few publications along this vein, with a notable collaboration with Lt. Col. Robert Johnson called "Thunderbolt!".

Good reads, the lot of them.
