How much do you want to spend and do you plan to remove/adjust various sights? I own both below. The NcStar is good and I have used it multiple times. It works but is a little more work than the Real Avid to get the slide in position and ready to use.
The Real Avid costs more but is probably the better value for me because it allowed me to remove the really tall front sight on my Springfield xdm elite OSP. The NcStar was too shallow.
I've bought other cheap $30 sight removers trying to save money on something I thought I would only use once, and to be honest I wish I had just got the Real Avid in the beginning. It is really easy to use and is versatile. It also feels like it will last forever. Just used it to put Trijicons on my PDP.
NcSTAR about $50 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01HU4NNDE/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_QKMF51910AMSEYS3YG33?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Real Avid $125 to $150 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08BB6W9ZZ/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_NCKXJSPNF8BZSP3EYWTR
Yes, it’s totally worth it. You can do sight swaps for other guns, and it’s valuable to learn how to do. I paid to learn that lesson by having a gun shop do mine, however they did such a bad job I just ended up ordering the tool and doing it myself at the range in the end.
Got this one from Amazon. Works mint.
Just edited and added it to my comment
