the top of the package was also open...

I really would rather not go through through the trouble of returning them and waiting for more unless this condition looks very concerning to you guys

The Energizer battery packs have 1200mAh capacity each. Eneloop Pros have 2550mAh capacity per battery (so I think it would be 5100mAh total 4.25x the capacity of the packs. Does anyone know if that's how two batteries drain?). I have been buying eneloops for close to 10 years. I have only had two batteries wear out. I highly highly recommend the starter pack for anyone looking to get started with them. Be aware, some knockoffs exist!

Starter kit 10AA, 4AAA & Charger (not PRO) $41.99

Eneloop PRO 4AA w/Charger $26.30

If you get really serious about your rechargeable batteries, I highly recommend this charger as an upgrade.

Sorry, I can't speak to that specific product, but their products in general seem cheap, so just keep your expectations low. It's on Amazon, so you have 30 days to return it if you don't like it.

Personally, I highly recommend Panasonic eneloop PRO rechargeable batteries. They're extremely high quality, long lifespan, long lasting, quick to charge, I've been using them daily for years with no sign of them slowing down, I can't recommend them more.

Any time I'm done playing for the day, I take the batteries out and put them on the charger. I'll use these batteries for any controller that uses AA batteries too (ie, Xbox One). It's nice not leaving cheap batteries in your wii remotes too, as over time they will corrode and you would have no clue, whereas if you are consistently taking these back out to recharge them for all your controllers, that scenario will never happen.

As for the Wii U dock, I just use the OEM Nintendo Wii U dock, very good quality, works great, super easy to dock and undock, I wouldn't want to use anything else personally.
