Been using these risers exclusively for a few years and failure rate has been very low and I do not keep my equipment in a climate controlled, dust free environment.

To give some context have probably used 100 for rigs I've got or have sold and probably another 150 for rigs of clients. Failure rate on personal rigs has been maybe 4 over 2 years running 24/7.
These work and have molex power connections which is better than using sata.
Bought these ones: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076KLJR2Y/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apap_VTOlVVpU8sIE9
Been running one for a couple of months with no issues. The second one had the issue described. Third one is looking great. I'm wondering if it's something I did but I can't think of what it might be!
Ubit Ver009c Plus
Can you get those on Amazon? Is it this one?
Yea because they probably tried to power the riser using the sata connector which 5 minutes of googling will tell you that's a fire hazard. Do not ever do this or even worse chain multiple sata to risers, unless you want to buy a new house. Use only 6 pin and at very minimum molex 4 pin.
Please be sure to research articles and not just go by what reddit is saying, theres people here who don't know shit.
