Sorry, I'm not sure I follow.

A splitter copies the signal to multiple displays

Right. If this person wants the console to be accessible from both the TV and PC monitor, this sounds like what's needed.

a switch can used to swap outputs between devices.

Searching for an "hdmi switch" in store/online, you'll likely get one similar to the one I use, which is great for multiple consoles on a single TV, but wouldn't help in the above scenario.

A combo switch/splitter could do both.

When setting up your HD60 S you will want to connect your console to the HDMI IN of your HD60 S and connect a display to the HDMI OUT of your HD60 S. Since your monitor only has one HDMI port this may not be the best monitor for your setup. You may be able to use a HDMI splitter to send both your OUTPUT from your HD60 S and PC to your monitor but we cannot guarantee that this setup will work as we have not tested all HDMI switches on the market. A device like this, may work and allow you to set up your capture software and press record and then switch back to your gameplay on the same display.

Ideally you will use a monitor that has two HDMI inputs and use a source button to switch between the two sources or a HDMI display connected to your PC and a HDMI display connected to the OUTPUT of your HD60 S.
