When you do a search, there is an option to filter by “amazon prime.” Supposedly, those should be legitimate amazon verified products, especially when what I was buying was a default PS4 controller, which had a 5 star review. After buying, I then went to read the reviews and nearly every single recent one was about how they were fake. So, when searching products and selecting “prime” for a 5 star product, you’d think it would be legit.

Edit- it was this exact listing, where amazon simply switches out the seller to whomever they please. It’s the same exact listing as when I bought it, yet under a different store’s name now. I’ve had this happen on a few items, so it’s clearly an amazon thing.

Ok, so here are some images to show you how the seller name changed. The order cancellation is the first name, the order details are how it looks now. If you look on the listing I sent, you'll notice it now is under yet another seller name. Also, just for you to understand how this all went down, I searched for "PS4 controller" and ticked the checkbox on the left hand side that was to filter only Amazon Prime products. I selected the highest rated one (the listing I sent you) and bought it. I then realized several days later that I still hadn't gotten any "it's shipped" notice, so I logged in to see what was going on. I saw it was still not even estimated to arrive for another few weeks, so I tried to cancel the order. The seller responded and assured me it would arrive within 2 weeks. I was still very annoyed with this, since it's a PS4 controller and I could've literally walked across the street to Target or Best Buy and bought it, but I just let the order ride. When it showed up, it was immediately apparent it was fake. Typos on the packaging, cheap plastic, etc. I wrote to Amazon about this and it took another month of back and forth with them just to get my money.

I used my iPad Mini 4 as a primary device for a while. Sold it because it got very slow and I wanted to cut my losses when the new model was announced. I used the Microsoft Foldable Keyboard but have also heard good things about the Logitech Keys-To-Go and Brydge 7.9. I am probably going to buy the 2019 model sometime before I go back to school—it's a great device for both traveling on trains and planes and studying.

Other must-have accessories are a portable charger, a wireless mouse for iPadOS, a stand, a game controller, an Apple Pencil, an Apple Pencil charger or a hub, a guitar interface if you make music, a case, a screen protector, and a bag.

Good apps are Soulver, Tweetbot, PDFelement, Luna VPN, Yoink, Spark, Wikipanion, GoodNotes, Opener, Drafts, Pythonista, Shortcuts, Launch Center Pro, Ulysses, Editorial, Photoship Mix, Procreate, and Kindle.

The thing is, that listing I sent you is the one people are ordering from and getting fakes. Look at the reviews. That's the big issue here. Amazon either keeps swapping out sellers on the same listing or they are permitting the same seller to rebrand and keep selling the same trash. When I click the link in my order history, it takes me to the one I sent you. Here is a link to that Texpert profile, just in case. There is a completely different seller now listed on the link in my order history though. I see it listed as Premium Shipment
