Apologies for the late reporting for today. I had a hectic morning.
Applications are still rolling along. We are matching trends like last year. More to report in the coming days.

GUESS THE BANDAI KIT VALUE
It's another episode of The Price is Right.
Yesterday saw the gift box be the HG Petit GGuy Burning Red. It has a Bandai MSRPrice of Bandai JpY500. A cute and neat kit, but if it were to be gifted alone to a giftee, would it satisfy our price floor requirements? NO. As stated, our price floor for SecretSanta is Bandai MSRP JpY3000. Y500 isn't going to cut it. If you were to gift said kit along with say another HG kit with a Bandai MSRP of Y2500 to get to a combined value of Bandai JpY 3000 would that make it valid? YES But on it's own, no.
Now here's the kicker. If you look at the current US Amazon listing (10/08/2021) of said Petit 'GGuy Burning Red it is currently priced at US Amazon for $29.87. First of all... HOLY SHIT that's highway robbery. 2nd, hypothetically should you buy that kit from Amazon (please do not) as a gift, does that make you free and clear? ABSOLUTELY NOT.
But Holo, "US$29.87 converts to JpY3,352". While yes that is how the Foreign Exchange Market works, that is not how we determine SS gift value.
As we have always emphasized, we are looking at BANDAI MSRP JpY Value. This is the suggested retail price Bandai declares a kit. Whenever Bandai releases a kit, Bandai publicly declares what they suggest the retail value of that said kit is. They are the manufacturer, they determine internally based on the cost of what it took to develop and manufacture that specific kit what the suggested retail price of that kit should be. Bandai publicly release that information and it is up to retailers to frame their sale to said price. Whatever Bandai declares that MSRP of that kit to be, it is constant and unchanging from henceforth. An MG Gouf 2.0 released in 2013 will have an MSRP of Bandai Jpy3800. In 2021 should Bandai reprint said kit, it will still have a Bandai MSRP of JpY3800. That is what Bandai want the price to be. And that is the value from which we asses the gifting performance of our Santas. The Santa's are free to shop wherever they want and pay whatever they want for said kits, what we care about is that the gift should have a value of atleast Y3000 from Bandai's perspective.
Hope we can clear things more. Again feel free to ask questions if this confuses anyone.
Ultimately, the best way to not have to worry about meeting the price floor and getting a nasty mod-follow-up-performance letter in December from the mod team, is to gift generously enough that you don't have to skirt the gifting minimums. It's easy enough to do. But if you have any apprehensions or more questions and you are not sure of the value of your potential gifts, now is the best time to ask and iron out the details. That's what this thread and what we're here for.
That said, todays mystery box is as follows:
