I haven't seen any giveaways like that in a while but if it's free comics you're looking for then you should look into Marvel Insider. You can earn points by reading articles, watching videos, listening to podcasts, and playing mobile games on the Marvel website and then redeem those points for rewards. These rewards include in-game items for the aforementioned mobile games, social media layouts, collectibles, and digital comics for Comixology.

For the articles and podcasts you can just click on the activity and wait for everything to load in, wait a couple seconds, then back out and that's enough to earn you the points. The videos are a little more tedious as you have to sit there and watch the whole video. Make sure to wait for the entire video to end, I can't stress that enough, it won't give you points if you click off even a second before it ends and then you'll have to watch the whole thing again. No skipping either. The mobile games that can earn you points are "Contest of Champions" and "Puzzle Quest". These will net you the most points but the payouts are once a month. You complete an in game event or earn a certain number of points in order to get these points.

Some of the comic rewards they have right now are the first volume of Zeb Wells Spider-Man run, X-Men: Inferno, Wolverine vs Deadpool, Strange Academy: First Class, Dan Slott's first volume of She-Hulk, and Werewolf by Night: Complete Collection Vol. 1.

If you just want some free books in the here-&-now to tide you over until you start earning enough points to redeem those books here's a link to a free Daredevil book.

And a link to a free Superman book.

And if you have the Google Play app or pull up the Google playstore in your browser, then Green Lantern (1990-2004) issues 56-75, Starman (1994-) issues 57 & 73-80, and Death of the New Gods issues 2-8 are all free on their book store.

Happy reading!
