this is what I have for my basset mix. It attaches is the front, so she does walk over it sometimes, but for walking, its fantastic. The harness squeezes her front legs together when she pulls, so its a great deterrence.

i have a husky and don't use a choke collar...i use this easy walk from amazon and it works wonders. and Pulling you can work on your own. If a dog pulls. immediately stop and wlak the other direction. He'll eventually figure out in order to move forward he shouldn't pull. That's how i trained my husky.
I use easy walk harness.

Kudos is 4 months right now 8lbs, so I have the small size, and she's still a little small for that even on the tightest setting. It has alot of adjust points and she doesn't hate the harness.
This si my 3rd type of harness in the past month and she likes this one and this is the one my trainer recommended.
It's also my 3rd one purchased due to leaving the harness around her to get used to it, she broke one of the buckles on the first one, and then bit through the other one.
I stand by the easy pet walker or the deluxe version of this.
My Aussie walks fine with this, it doesn’t pinch hair since their is only so much fabric, and my dog stays cool since it only has minimal coverage. The straps are highly adjustable so your dog can grow with it. I have a medium size (my boy is 45-50 pounds) and have been using it for the last four months.
