No camping trailer.....yet. An RV/Trailer will be in the future. Earliest 7 years once the daughter gets through college.

As for roof rack I currently use an old Yakima Q-Tower system that latches on to the top of the door jamb. I bought this because I was leasing SUVs and wanted something I could move from car to car. My current Jeep is a lease but I'm thinking of buying it at lease end. If I do, I'll be getting something that uses the stock roof rails to mount the base of the rack. I need a crossbar that is 58" or more to haul a canoe and kayak at the same time so I'm looking at the Rhino Rack Vortex crossbars on their bases. That package is like $470 at E-Trailer. It also looks to be easily removable which I like. If I just wanted the standard crossbar width I'd either go with the Mopar crossbars or the Brightline brand. That'll be a much cheaper investment.

Roof basket I went with a cheap one from eBay. If you look around at eBay and Amazon you'll start to see they all seem to be made by the same manufacturer and just branded differently. Unless you get a nice one made by the well known brands. The cheap ones are good to use and take off. I wouldn't leave the cheap ones on full time. If full time is your goal, invest in a good basket that won't rust. This is what I have: https://www.ebay.com/itm/192058630233

I use this roof bag in the basket: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071X6SG48/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
