Was down -11 the first day I couldn't get it into ready mode, our high our high was 14 the day after and it's 24 degrees today. This is Fahrenheit of course, think I should give it a couple days to warm up?

You may have drained the 12v significantly in your efforts to start it in the frigid cold... and it may not start now in warmer temps. I'd invest in a 12v Battery charger such as the NOCO GENIUS10, 10-Amp Fully-Automatic Smart Charger, 6V and 12V Battery Charger, Battery Maintainer, Trickle Charger, and Battery Desulfator with Temperature Compensation. I personally use this charger and have used it to repair a 12v. There is also a cheaper 5 Amp Version which essentially does the same thing.

I also use a 12v Maintainer when not using my Prius for significant amounts of time.. Link for the maintaner: BMK 12V 5A Smart Battery Charger Portable Battery Maintainer with Detachable Alligator Rings Clips Fast Charging Trickle Charger for Car Boat Lawn Mower Marine Sealed Lead Acid Battery

Thanks for the detailed response man,

You're welcome.

I would really appreciate your opinion on whether or not to wait out the weather,

You likely need to take some sort of measure at this point... either charging the 12V or replacing it.

should I not be worried about the fob not locking or unlocking the car, whole dash not lighting up or any of that, it's all likely the 12V?

I'm almost 100% certain this is a consequence of the dead/dieing 12v Battery. You probably drained it alot more attempting to start it in the cold to the point where it is now completely dead.

If you have a volt meter you can check the 12v Battery voltage at the jump terminals in the fusebox under the hood. Anything below 11.5V is basically a shot 12v Battery.

to be clear harbor freight doesn't carry the nice ones I should have clarified.. Onboard chargers are going to be much more expensive.. For that i'd order on amazon.

As a budget option I have one of these on one of my smaller boats. It's water resistant and does a better job than anything you'll find at harbor freight.. Without getting too technically its a very good battery charger.

I've had onboard chargers i've paid over $500 for(big boat/live aboard)but for a normal boater this is all you need.

No problems but I have it mounted in a reasonably dry place. I wouldn't trust any onboard charger not mounted in a hatch somewhere.
