Not sure what model you’re referring to, but I ordered one of those 45$ handbrakes from AliExpress like this one: https://www.amazon.com/PC-Handbrake-FANATECOSW-Mac-Linux-Unix/dp/B08VHN8GSV/ref=mp_s_a_1_1_sspa?dchild=1&keywords=usb+handbrake&qid=1630908292&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUFFVFJUUTUyV0JQTFEmZW5jcnlwdGVkSWQ9QTEwMzc5MzYxSUI1TFU1Q01SWk1TJmVuY3J5cHRlZEFkSWQ9QTA4NTM0NzQyMjM1TzgySlk3SzdFJndpZGdldE5hbWU9c3BfcGhvbmVfc2VhcmNoX2F0ZiZhY3Rpb249Y2xpY2tSZWRpcmVjdCZkb05vdExvZ0NsaWNrPXRydWU=.
The thing was DOA, the micro USB port came off the Arduino clone they use for the micro controller.
I soldered it back it place, and there you go, working fine. Was a bit of a pain, as I had to desolder all the pins that connect to their board for the hall sensor. Luckily, they really did a half ass job and soldered the bare minimum, only the connected pins :)
