Got this Timemore scale and whew, was it a bit difficult to find a shallow tray that would be a good fit in here 😅
The GCP drip tray grid fits decently in the pan, and it's easy to position the end of the solenoid valve tube over the hole where it normally goes.
I felt like the timer needed a fairly sturdy flat base, because it has feet on the bottom (flat rubber feet to keep it stable), and the 2 in front hang past the front of the GCP. The weight sometimes got a little fiddly without a base, so I have a small thing underneath it for now (which helped) - but I eventually want to find something that's better sized.
I just got this in, so it's a work in progress! I need to get used to how to press the controls on the scale/timer, too. I love that I don't need to use a separate timer anymore, but I didn't press hard enough earlier when I did a test shot. Aside from that, the scale worked great.
P.S. Please excuse my base, I use it to move the GCP forward and back everyday bc it's really close to the cabinet above 😊

The Acaia Lunar is a really nice scale but if you're looking for a nice digital scale for less then $250, check out this Timemore scale:

It's very basic with no phone app (some might consider that a plus) and does everything you need, including auto time. Nice materials, clean stying, and simple to use. I just picked one up on Amazon for $65 and love it.
