cAtloVeR9998, thanks for taking the time to write this very interesting reply.
Here's my hardware :
Motherboard : Asrock z690 Extreme with the following connector : "1 x Front Panel Type C USB 3.2 Gen2x2 Header (20 Gb/s) (Supports ESD Protection)" : https://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Z690%20Extreme/index.us.asp#Specification
I am currently using the Front Panel GRAUGEAR which is presented as "USB 3.2 Gen2 2x2 10Gbit/s" with 1 USB-C port labeled "10Gbit/s", and a 2nd USB-C Port labeled "5Gbit/s" : https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09QXGVM8Y
And in the comments, a customer said that he managed to get 20Gbps on one USB-C port so it confirms what you are saying (but it's strange that Graugear didn't market it as 20Gbps).
I didn't understand when you mentionned the Orico M2 Enclosure and said that "it will be limited on all USB4/TB3 devices to 10Gbps until devices adopt the USB4 V2 spec which mandates that USB 80Gbps support a minimum of 20Gbps of SuperSpeed USB."
For example If I buy this Orico Enclosure with a Samsung 56gbps NVME and that I plug it on my 20gbps-capable Front Panel connected to my 20gbps MB connector, will I get a ~20Gbps transfert rate ? I don't use any USB4/TB3 devices.
