This workaround can also work for any motherboard without a wifi card slot.

BIOS revision: 7D29v11 (12/13/2021) only one with functional thunderbolt 4

removed the wifi card and mini antenna leads that came with the motherboard, replaced them with this, which is long enough to reach around to the back of the motherboard.
No, I don’t have the Wi-Fi model. Silly me, when I ordered the computer at the beginning of the year, I just assumed that in this day and age, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth would be standard on any decent motherboard. And I was totally wrong.
