When I search Amazon for "SJ4000" basically everything that comes up seems to have a battery life of 90 minutes (like this for example, which is 70). It comes with extra batteries so that you can record longer, but that does me no good because I wouldn't be able to change batteries during a shift.

Order from Amazon. Order from a listing that shows it has prime shipping even if u don't have prime. This means the order is fulfilled from Amazon, therefore real. Also the box comes with a scratch off serial so u can check whether its real or not. Amazon is a much better company to deal with just in case there's a problem.
