Super fun times getting ready. I remember doing this prep work and it was fun like a kid waiting for christmas.

For wrist straps, I'm glad I got the Nintendo ones, so order those and wait. In the meantime, you may want to stop by Gamestop or something for replacement straps (or something cheap that doesn't look wire thin on Amazon to hold you over). You'll immediately see how thin the included ones are, so I imagine it won't be hard finding thicker ones for now.

I use these two things every time I put my vive away: https://www.amazon.com/Giottos-AA1910-Medium-Rocket-Blaster/dp/B000L9OIQC/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1471282785&sr=8-2&keywords=lens+blower

https://www.amazon.com/LensPen-NLP-1C-Cleaner-Black-Rings/dp/B00I3THUAS/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1471282816&sr=8-6&keywords=lens+brush

That's usually all I need to keep the lenses nice and clean. Occasionally I will then use the included microfiber. If I need to do a deep clean, I use these camera lens cleaners (probably once a month, if that): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000BP8QB4/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I got these extensions for the lighthouse: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JDTZ26G/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I also got these switches, so that I can keep the lighthouses plugged in all of the time. I think some people run then 24/7,but when not in use I cut the power to them with a flick of this switch: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CWNMB86/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I got this banana stand to hold the HMD when I need to temporarily set it down somewhere. You'll notice that near the top of the strap on the front there is a triangle shaped hole. It fits perfectly into a banana stand and naturally angles the lenses downward so that dust doesn't fall on the lens: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00H9M6YI4/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

And I also got these magnetic usb chargers for the controllers to lessen the strain on the micro usb plug: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CZMLQSK/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Also consider if you need to buy an extra surge protector or two. My computer rig and vive get moved to a special room that isn't permanent, so I keep a couple surge protectors over there. I also bought a second computer rig power cable, an extra DVI/HDMI cable, and a cheap wireless keyboard/trackpad. That way, when I disconnect my rig, I can disconnect all wires and just carry the PC. No worrying about taking cables to the other room.

Will you be wall mounting your lighthouses? Not sure if you need recommendations for that.
